We’ll start with binding data to the Grid View, then build up functionality from there.

First, we’ll implement a method to databind the Grid View, which will be called whenever databinding needs to be performed.

I'm throwing an exception in the Item Inserting Event which I excpect to catch in the Item Inserted event using the Form View Inserted Event Args, however, the event does not flow from Item Inserting -Yes, for example, I validate and findout the length of the input exceeds the permisable value, then I throw a new Validation Exception(), ofcourse, I can simply handle it using condition checking but the actual problem is when I have an SQL Exception.

Once that task is completed, it raises the Mode Changed event (to indicate that it's done) (optionally do something here). How could you consume the events if they don't get raised.

I'm going to guess at it, that they don't get raised initially because of nothing to do, just perform the changing of the mode.
