I have zeroed out the project percentage and re-entered based on subtask completion. The subtasks contain a mixture of tasks with durations as well as milestones which I've set to 100%.It does not change the date of the task that I marked as 100%, as expected.

So, now when you update the % Work Complete it will roll-up to Summary Task.Minute issue, that few users ends up doing – while testing some parameters forgetting to put in the appropriate information for the Calculations.I created 5 tasks and started updating % Work Complete in sub-tasks, but % Work Complete at Summary Task is not getting rolled up as can be seen in the snapshot below.Formula for % Work Complete is Actual Work/Work * 100, so if resources are not assigned Work will be 0, no matter if Summary task is auto or manual it won’t roll-up for Summary.Hello readers, In this post I will take an extensive look at a set of fields that report progress in the schedule. And if they didn’t, act on that: Manage by exception!

Hello readers, In this post I will take an extensive look at a set of fields that report progress in the schedule. And if they didn’t, act on that: Manage by exception!

These are some of the riddles that I’ve had to work through of late as I work with end users who have grown up using another scheduling tool.
