Shalom, Robert My sister in law is an ex mormon..cant marry someone non mormon and still go to the church. Its not for everyone either, if you love the outdoors and like the desert/mountain life then Utah is for you.I dated someone once who didn't claim any tpe of religion. He put enough milk & sugar in his coffee to make it damn near syrupy.Remember that we are the largest free online dating service, so you will never have to pay a dime to meet your soulmate. Its a high tall castle looking place with a gate around it... I liked the Park Cities area outside Salt lake..normal people were there.:)Why would a devote Mormon want to date a non LDS ??? I would live in Utah in a heartbeat, its incrediblely gorgeous with the canyons and Park City is great skiing. As an ex mormon I can tell you this, if they are an "active" member of the church they will never totally be happy with you unless you become a mormon. They do and they cant be sealed to them if they marry..there was coffee to drink. But yes, if you are not mormon, you cant have a temple wedding. But Utah is only 55% mormon, not the the whole state. I have met quite a few people who live in SLC and love it who are not mormon.I didn't find out he was Mormon- or at least went to a Mormon church- til he had me & my mom drop him off there one time.
